Your SenseCAP T1000‑E with gpxcam: its state, pairing with your LUMIX camera, and its
settings.
This browser cannot talk to the card. Open this page in Chrome or Edge on a
computer (Windows, macOS or Linux): Firefox, Safari and phones do not support Web Serial. On a computer
without Chrome or Edge, use the desktop app,
gpxcam card.
A serial terminal works too, see the
README.
The card
Plug the card in with a USB cable, click Connect and choose
T1000‑E gpxcam. Close serial monitors that use the card first.
Not connected.
More than one card is plugged in. Choose one:

The camera
Pairing from this page needs gpxcam 1.3.0. With gpxcam 1.2, pair with the
card's button, see the README.
GPS has a fix
Start Bluetooth pairing on the camera now
Camera menu: Setup → Bluetooth → Pairing
left to find the camera
Camera found
Leave the camera on and in its pairing screen. This takes a few seconds.
One more step for this camera
This is an older camera (LUMIX Sync generation). It needs the card registered once over its
own Wi-Fi.
On this computer, join the Wi-Fi network the camera shows on its screen.
No password, unless you set one in the camera.
This step needs the gpxcam card app: a browser cannot reach the
camera's Wi-Fi. Cancel, then pair it in the
app.
Paired with your camera
From now on the card connects by itself whenever the camera is on. You can unplug it.
Forget the paired camera? The card stops connecting to it. To pair them again later, also delete
T1000‑E in the camera's Bluetooth menu.
Your camera stays paired as before.
Start pairing on the camera only when you are told to – some cameras stay in pairing mode
for just 30 seconds.
Keep the camera within a metre of the card.
Check that no phone is connected to the camera.
An older camera? (S5, S1, GH5, GH6, G9, G100…)
Pair recognises most of them by itself. If it did not, pair yours as an older camera: the same
steps, plus one over the camera's Wi-Fi.
The step over the camera's Wi-Fi needs the gpxcam card
app.
How pairing works
Put the card where its GPS gets a fix, outdoors or by a window: pairing needs the time from it.
The GPS tile above shows Fix when it is ready.
If the camera lists T1000‑E from an earlier pairing, delete it there first: the camera does
not pair a card it already knows. Remove the phone from the same list too, or turn its Bluetooth
off: a phone may grab the camera the moment it starts pairing.
Click Pair. Do not start pairing on the camera yet: some cameras stay in pairing mode only
about 30 seconds, so the card must already be looking for them.
When this screen says Start Bluetooth pairing on the camera now, start pairing in the
camera's Bluetooth menu. The card looks for it for up to 2 minutes and tries up to 3 times.
Older cameras (LUMIX Sync generation) then need one more step, over the camera's own Wi-Fi
network, which only the gpxcam card app can do: the app starts it by itself and says what to do.
The camera's clock
The camera gets it at the next connection: switch the camera off and
on.
Location updates
Sound
Diagnostics
When something does not work, this collects what the card knows, ready to paste into a message.
Copy log takes the card's last events. Scan for cameras listens for 30 seconds and
lists the Bluetooth devices next to the card: put the camera next to it first, with Bluetooth pairing
started on the camera.
What is copied hides your camera's serial number, the Bluetooth addresses and the card's
identity.
About this page
The page runs only in your browser and sends nothing over the internet. It talks
to the card over USB at
115200 baud and sends it only v, status, pair, pair off,
pair older, pair prepare, p, unpair, clock on,
clock off, updates normal, updates frequent, sound loud,
sound quiet, sound off, log, diag scan, tz
and tz with the zone you chose.
Offsets in the list come from your browser and are only a guide; the card uses its own copy of the tz
database.
